Lima Family YMCA Barracudas Long-Course Swim Team

The Lima YMCA Barracudas will compete during the 2026 summer long-course competition season with USA Swimming. USA Swimming is the national governing body for competitive swimming in the United States. This program will provide swimmers of all abilities the opportunity to compete in local, regional, and national level swim events.

Registration is now open on the Barracudas website, www.limabarracudas.com. All registrants must be members of USA swimming (available at registration) and members of the YMCA.

Season Length: April 20 – August 2

Registration Fee: $199

Training Schedule

April 20-May 28

Senior Group: Monday – Thursday 6:00-8:00pm

Junior Group: Monday-Thursday 5:00-6:00pm

June 1- July 23

Mon. & Thurs. 12:00-1:30pm (Jr. Group) and1:30-3:30pm (Sr. Group)

Tue. & Wed. 3:00-4:30pm (Jr. Group) and 4:30-6:30pm (Sr. Group)
